The expectation is for the individual to travel across sites to provide training sessions.

We require an individual with motivation, energy, excellent communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach and attitude; commitment and passion in delivering a high-quality training programme as well as delivering women centred care. To work collaboratively with regional leads in strategically planning future ultrasound services and plan training to meet those needs.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in an environment where there is a high degree of autonomy and offers every opportunity to fully utilise your professional skills.

You will be responsible for developing and carrying out obstetrics and gynaecology training program for all staff groups requiring these skills (doctors – consultants and registrars, midwives, nurses and radiographers) including developing programmes to enable staff to take on new or extended roles in ultrasound.

Flexibility and innovation are a prerequisite for this post with a high value placed on individual initiative and responsibility. This role will continually evolve as the needs and demands across the region changes. Part time hours or job share would be considered.
