Are you a band 5 Occupational therapist ready to expand your skills and knowledge to progress to a band 6 Occupational therapy post within 12 months?

Do you have a broad range of experience including working in an acute physical setting and have experience in at least 3 different clinical areas?

If you have answered yes to all the above then we want to hear from you!

We can support you within our vibrant acute teaching hospital to achieve your goal and become part of our dynamic senior team.

We are looking for a Occupational therapist who wants to develop personally and professionally with the aim of becoming a band 6 OT in 12 months’ time.

You will be supported to achieve this by joining our 12 month competency based programme in which you will be assigned a mentor to guide you through. After successful completion, you will be promoted to a permanent band 6 OT in a rotational post.

Currently the rotation covers the following areas:

  • Cancer care
  • Neurosciences
  • Acute Medical Unit
  • Medicine for Older people
  • Major Trauma centre
  • Vascular and General Medicine
