We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Occupational therapist to join our vibrant and forward thinking Therapy services team. Our band 6 rotation covers the areas:

  • Cancer care, Neurosciences
  • Acute Medical Unit
  • Medicine for Older people
  • Major Trauma centre, Vascular
  • General Medicine

 We are working towards adding more rotations in the future.

 You will need to have a broad range of acute experience for this post and be able to utilise skills of prioritisation and communication skills. We are looking for staff that are driven and resilient and who thrive on problem solving in partnership with their patients and multiple agencies.

 You will need to be a car driver, with full driving licence, or ability to travel independently between hospital sites or for necessary patient visits. The post holder would also need to be willing to work flexibly to cover weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

 Southampton is a vibrant and exciting city in the heart of Hampshire. It is well known for its New Forest attractions and has a large sailing community. With commutable access to London within the hour and beaches a short distance away at Bournemouth it is the perfect location to settle.
