An exciting opportunity has arisen for an information analyst to primarily support the work undertaken in theatres across University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.  Initially this post will sit within the theatres and anaesthetics care group, but will work closely with colleagues in the Business Information Team, part of Trust HQ.

We’re working hard as a Trust to improve the efficiency of our services.  In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing regular information reporting and analysis to meet internal and external information requirements, as well as responding to ad-hoc information requests, to support the operational and clinical teams across the trust.

You must:

  • be able to work independently
  • have the ability to manipulate data and develop/produce reports
  • be familiar with current NHS IT programmes and platforms.

We are one of England's largest acute teaching trusts and have recently been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC. In the latest national NHS Staff Survey we ranked;

  • seventh in the country for staff engagement
  • fourth best nationally for our proportion of staff saying that they would recommend the hospital as a place to work or to receive care

So if you’re looking to expand and diversify your career within a large organisation, and are looking for the chance to make a real difference in the work you do, come and join us.
