The theatres department at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) is currently expanding, and we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as theatre assistants.

The role will involve:

  • Transporting patients between wards and departments around the hospital.
  • Receiving, checking, sorting and distributing stores.
  • Moving medical equipment safely around the hospital.
  • Assisting with maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
  • Other duties to support the smooth-running of the department.

 

No prior experience is required as in house training is provided with the potential for further development.

Currently, this team covers services between 07:30 and 21:30, 7 days per week.
