University Hospitals Southampton NHS Trust (UHS) is in the top 10 research active NHS Trusts in the UK. The Pharmacy has a well-established and dedicated team of pharmacy trial experts to support clinical research. The department helps facilitate over 200 clinical trials within the Trust across all clinical specialities.
You will be joining an established team to be one of three band 7 clinical trial pharmacists within the clinical trial team which comprises of 30 dedicated staff; supporting the ongoing portfolio development of clinical trials undertaken within University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. By integrating your work with the cancer care pharmacy, Southampton Clinical Biomedical Research unit and Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility you will be able to influence the way clinical trials are conducted, ensuring maximum patient safety and Good Clinical Practice compliance.
Your job will combine supporting oncology and non oncology clinical trials.

To take responsibility for the pharmaceutical aspects of all dispensary, technical services, cancer care and advanced therapy clinical trials undertaken in the Trust.
