The Dermatology day unit are looking for a friendly, outgoing and hardworking housekeeper to support the nursing staff on a fixed term 6 month basis.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Dermatology Day Unit is based at Royal South Hants Hospital and is part of University Hospitals Southampton. The Dermatology department is an acute centre, dealing with high volumes of referrals alongside clinics. The Southampton dermatology centre currently operates from 07.00 – 18.00 Monday to Friday, however as our service expands we will be looking at seven day working. The dermatology department is a multi-disciplinary team working together to provide the best standard of care for our patients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be able to provide a clean and friendly environment for patients and manage the day-to-day housekeeping duties.
The post holder will work under the supervision and guidance of the nurse in charge during the clinical shift and will co-ordinate non-clinical patient services/facilities in the unit.

You must have good communication skills both written and verbal and be able to demonstrate your commitment to provide a high standard of work to support the busy environment on a daily basis.
