The Radiology Care Group is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, efficient, motivated and competent individual to coordinate and manage all Clinical Research processes and meetings across all radiology departments. We are looking for someone with a skill set and suitable experience in clinical research.
Working in a challenging and changing environment, you will need to have excellent administrative, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. You will also possess the ability to multi task, pay close attention to detail and work on your own initiative.
You will be the first point of contact for many research sponsors and teams from a wide variety of clinical pathways undertaking commercial and non-commercial research. Your duties will primarily be liaison between these research sponsors and the clinical and managerial leads within Radiology to ensure each trial is correctly processed for approval and all financial, clinical and operational aspects considered. This will require full and ongoing tracking of all projects in the approval pipeline and all live trials. The duties will include a number of administrative tasks including compiling and typing documents, notes, minutes and reports, managing electronic diaries, organising venues and papers for meetings, managing and maintaining both paper and electronic filing systems. You will also be the point of contact for all radiology staff relating to radiology led research.
Word processing skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft packages particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of the EDGE database is desirable.
Candidates should have a good depth of understanding of clinical trials management and coordination, a good level of general education and excellent communication and administrative skills. A proven track record of project and process management will be advantageous.
