We are currently recruiting for Pharmacy support workers to join us at The Royal South Hants Hospital.

UHS hospital pharmacy employs over 300 staff and around a third of them are Pharmacy Support Workers who are fundamental in supporting the provision of pharmacy services in a range of roles!

We have an excellent track record of supporting staff development and career progression and as we have recently promoted several to further training posts we have a number of vacancies to recruit to.

The RSH hospital pharmacy supplies medicines to other health care organisations (primary care) as well as to our acute trust.

You would be involved in supplying medicines, ward top up and reception duties helping problem solve dealing with the public as well as our service users.

All posts are supported by training and competency assessment with a vocational qualification  under an apprenticeship by the pharmacy training team.

All our pharmacy support workers are required to undertake a pharmacy vocational qualification at level 2 unless they have one already.

Applicants should have Maths, English Language and another GCSE or equivalent but may consider those who need support to gain equivalent qualifications through the apprenticeship scheme.

Enthusiastic about joining a forward-thinking NHS team supporting patient care both directly and in-directly then apply today.

Closing date for applications Sunday 21 October.
