Radiology is looking for and enthusiastic and motivated person who has a professional and friendly manner, to join our Radiology Admin Team in a part-time role. Duties will be varied but will include the provision of a comprehensive administration service to Consultants and staff within the CT booking office, specifically supporting the co-ordination and scheduling of inpatient and outpatient appointments for CT diagnostic imaging.

ABOUT THE TEAM

-The Radiology Admin Department is a large group of staff covering Ultrasound, X-ray, MRI, CT, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, providing all aspects of secretarial and admin support to Radiographers, Nurses and Consultant Radiologists, to ensure the best possible journey for all patients undergoing diagnostic examinations. The department runs a service covering Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO

-Answer the telephones and deal with patient enquiries

-Process inpatient/outpatient CT requests as required

-Book CT appointments

-Cover the reception desk if required

-Scanning, filing and everyday office administration duties

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

-We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills who can be flexible in their approach to work.

-Someone who can use their own initiative to prioritise workload, pre-empt problems and maintain confidentiality.

-To ensure a comprehensive reception service in the MRI department and the cross sectional imaging department, we are looking for someone who is able to work between the hours 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
