Online applications are invited for a locum consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry commencing asap.  This post is fixed term for 6 months

 

The post attracts a total of 10 programmed activities (8DCA, 2 SPA).

 

The clinical duties are primarily paediatric liaison, also with involvement in Bursledon House, a joint paediatric / child mental health inpatient. The post is based in the Child Health Care Group, Southampton Children’s Hospital (SCH) which is part of University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. There is one other Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry based at Southampton Children’s Hospital.

 

 

Please note that GMC registration (with a licence to practice) and right to work in the UK are essential for this role.  Successful applicants will already have GMC registration or will be able to demonstrate they are eligible.  Applicants requiring Tier 2 sponsorship should ensure they meet the Home Office application criteria prior to submitting an application.
