We have exciting opportunities for Sisters / Charge Nurses to come and join our teams in both our inpatient respiratory and gastroenterology wards at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).
ABOUT THE TEAM

We have vacancies on;
D5 a 28 bedded respiratory ward
D9 a 28 bedded gastroenterology ward
Both wards form part of the medicine care group at UHS.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be acting a role model for nursing staff, encouraging effective working relationships and the development of a cohesive nursing team. You will be responsible got assisting the Senior Sister in the management of the ward for a 24 hours period ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

We are looking for individuals, who are strong leaders that are highly motivated and have excellent communication skills. The Sister / Charge Nurse role requires a close working relationship with the multi-professional team to ensure that evidenced based quality care is delivered with compassion to every patient.
