We are looking for an enthusiastic junior project manager to work on a number of exciting Informatics/digital projects at Southampton Hospital and across Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOW).
The UHSFT Digital Programme Team are delivering key components of the Trust’s Digital Strategy including the Global Digital Exemplar Programme. They work closely with their colleagues in informatics department to introduce new technology and systems to the organisation. They engage with the chief clinical and nursing informatics officers and other clinical champions to ensure that projects are clinically led and focused on delivering benefits for staff and patients. Develop projects - this could be exploring new technical solutions or implementing / rolling out solutions already available.
Implement projects across the hospital which would include Digital/IT projects in clinical and non clinical areas
Document the project using our programme management platform including detailed project planning
Complete project assurance activities including but not limited to reporting, clinical safety documentation and Data Protection Impact assessments.
Lead and support the implementation of digital projects working for the Digital Project Manager. Ensure diplomatic, accurate and timely communications are maintained internally and externally. Support these digital projects through the planning and implementation. Contribute to the clinical governance agenda by ensuring that all project deliverables meet guidance for clinical safety for healthcare software. Design and develop/write policies, protocols and standard operating procedures for projects/new systems. Work closely with BAU teams to deliver the implementation. Responsible for ensuring compliance with established Informatics resolution and project targets. Liaise with software suppliers. Prepare detailed project plans with milestones.
