We have a new opportunity to work in the EPR (Electronic Patient Records) team within Informatics as a Product Specialist supporting the Trust by providing an exemplar digital service. This is an exciting time for UHS Informatics as we roll out new projects and solutions to the digital health environment.
|
ABOUT THE TEAM |
The UHS EPR team runs a service that supports the whole organisation and some partner organisations in Hampshire in delivering a highly comprehensive and accessible health record: Covering both Clinical applications and administration systems. We deliver a service of support from 08.00 to 20.00 Monday to Friday. We are intricately involved in all aspects of the trust from the daily administration of the system to improvement projects and pioneering new solutions to patient care. At UHS we are a GDE site (Global Digital Exemplar). |
WHAT YOU’LL DO |
We are continually developing and improving our service to support and enhance our end user experience. This is a varied and challenging position which will give the successful applicant plenty of opportunity to improve and develop their IT skills, and end user support experience. We offer 2nd line daily support and are involved in multiple projects across the trust.
|
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who has good IT knowledge, analytical skills and a flexible attitude in the work place. There is a requirement to complete training courses for our EPR applications (if needed) which will support the successful applicant and help to understand the systems.
|
Previous knowledge of a Patient Administration System and clinical systems which support our EPR would be an advantage but not essential. Experience working within a hospital environment is also advantageous.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to learn new skills quickly and will enjoy working in a changing environment. You must be able to work to deadlines and cope with ever changing work priorities.
Accuracy, attention to detail and thorough understanding of Data Protection/Information governance is also essential in this post.
