Our Informatics Department is looking to recruit a Product Specialist to join the Electronic Patient Records (EPR) team.

We are continually developing and improving our service to support and enhance our end user experience so this role will give the successful applicant plenty of opportunity to improve and develop their IT and end user support skills.

This is a varied and challenging position and is for someone who has good IT knowledge, analytical skills and a flexible attitude in the work place. There is a requirement to attend training courses for our EPR applications and this will support the successful applicant in this role.

Previous knowledge of a Patient Administration System and clinical systems which support our EPR would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be a self starter with the ability to learn new skills quickly and will enjoy working in a changing environment.  You must be able to work to deadlines, cope with ever changing work priorities and work well within a team.

Accuracy, attention to detail and thorough understanding of Data Protection is essential in this post.

We’ve recently been awarded the status of Global Centre of Digital Excellence and are leading an exciting programme of work.   So if you feel you have what it takes to succeed and you want to make a significant contribution to our award-winning hospital, we would like to hear from you.

Informal visits are strongly encouraged.
