We are proud of our successful international recruitment programme at the University Hospital Southampton, NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) and we have an exciting opportunity for a recruiter to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Our international recruitment team manages an ongoing programme of nurse recruitment both through direct hiring and supported by agencies. We also support many other individuals coming to work at UHS from overseas though the application, offer and immigration process. Support continues when individuals arrive in the UK with pastoral care and sourcing accommodation.

You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing candidates through to providing support to the individuals when they arrive in the UK and start work at UHS.

We are open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and some flexibility will be required for supporting with individuals who arrive in the UK outside of core hours.
This role will be a combination of both on site and home working.
You will need to have previous experience in a proactive recruitment environment and have excellent communication skills.
Experience of international recruitment and UK visas and immigration processes would be ideal but not essential.
We are looking for someone who can adapt to changing processes and is committed to ensuring that all our internationally recruited staff have a positive experience throughout their entire recruitment journey.
You’ll be delivering a proactive, customer focused recruitment service in an ever changing environment, and as such, you’ll need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible and be committed to providing a first class service to our candidates.
