An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS). We are looking for a senior construction professional project manager with commercial development experience.
The Estates Project Team is a forward-thinking team working to demonstrate a private-practice and commercial approach within an NHS Trust. The team is developing software systems and processes, incorporating a full BIM approach for all projects. We won the HefmA ‘Project of the Year’ last year and have presented a talk to the RICS Digital built Environment Conference.
The Trust has a Capital Plan which includes:
01 a new joint-venture development for an off-site multi-storey car park and health campus
02 significant new buildings on the main site
03 a number of refurbishment and alteration projects to improve the existing clinical spaces.
The successful candidate will lead the project management of selected projects and organise their delivery. Management of the joint venture off-site facility will form a key responsibility.
Reporting to the Head of Estate Projects and the Programme Director for commercial development, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion. Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects for a range of stakeholders is essential.
The ability to manage a number of concurrent projects in various stages of development is required.
