We are looking for a qualified and experienced Estates Officer (Electrical) to join the Estates Maintenance team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).
Qualified in an appropriate electrical discipline and with a clear focus on quality and customer service you will be managing a team of Electricians and Mechanical Fitters working on the Trust’s, healthcare specific plant and equipment that supports the delivery of world class healthcare here at Southampton General Hospital.
Estates, Facilities and Capital Developments (EFCD) are a complex division providing both estate and facilities services across the Trust. This includes engineering and building maintenance, project developments, compliance governance, clinical engineering, parking and transport, waste management and linen services as well as contracted cleaning and catering service provision.
You will provide first line management and the co-ordination of a designated maintenance team. Provide forward planning and resource allocation for reactive and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring that relevant statutory and mandatory maintenance tasks are properly planned, co-ordinated and delivered in a timely manner and meet departmental KPI targets. You will manage a team of up to 10 people and a range of specialist contractors working on UHS sites

You will be expected to take part in an On Call roster. The salary will be £30,401.00 + approx £2200.00 On Call payments (after qualifying period)
