Come and join the team at the Princess Anne Hospital as associate practitioner for women & newborn. As an Associate practitioner you will support the nurse colposcopists to develop the colposcopy and hysteroscopy team and the service to provide excellent patient care. You will be professional and have some experience in supporting junior staff and service development. The colposcopy and hysteroscopy department works closely with a diverse group of services including our highly regarded Breast services, the nurse-led early pregnancy unit and gynaecology assessment service, surgical pre-assessment, outpatients, day surgical unit, bramshaw women’s unit and the administrative team.
The department is open from 8am until 6pm; currently Monday to Friday however weekend working may be required in the future.
We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, enthusiastic, empathetic, caring professional with a minimum of one years experience as an associate practitioner. Experience of working in a gynae setting is beneficial. The successful candidate will be working in a busy fast-paced environment so you will need to possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied, challenging workload.
