The Children’s Hospital is seeking to recruit a senior matron 8B to support the Divisional Head of Nursing and other two matrons within the team. This role will have a strategic lead for patient experience and strategy and enable us to take forward children services into the future.  With the future expansion of the Children’s Hospital Emergency Department on the horizon and shared vision for developing Southampton Children’s Hospital, we require a dynamic person to ensure we have a highly educated workforce working towards the future opening of the additional builds within Southampton.  

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the senior management team across the trust and ward staff across child health The successful candidate will receive extensive support and training to excel in this role.

We are looking for a motivated and flexible nurse with extensive post registration knowledge and experience within the field of child health nursing with experience of caring for children across all specialities.
