An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 position on the paediatric medical unit. This is a great opportunity for any band 5 wanting a change and the chance to develop new skills.

The medical unit is 16 bedded ward which includes 2 high dependency funded beds and 4 neuro rehab funded beds, along with a variety of other medical specialities for children from birth to 18.

We are looking for individuals, who are highly motivated and have excellent communication skills. The staff nurse role requires a close working relationship with the multi-professional team to ensure that evidenced based quality care is delivered with compassion to every patient.

You will be required to have high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and provide high quality care. Personal development is very important to us and we have a ward based education lead, who offers clinical support and education to all staff. Opportunities for personal growth and development are encouraged and progression supported.
