The cardiothoracic and vascular care group provides regional tertiary cardiothoracic and vascular services to Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Dorset, West Sussex and Wiltshire patients along with the local population of Southampton, New Forest and Eastleigh.
We are looking to recruit motivated, enthusiastic and caring staff nurses to join our team within the cardiothoracic and vascular care group at UHS. You will be an integral part of the MDT caring for patients with a wide range of healthcare needs including heart failure, heart disease, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery and thoracic surgery.
We can offer opportunities within the areas below through a bespoke rotational post that is tailored to you from the following areas:
• Cardiology – including interventional cardiology, heart failure and electrophysiology
• Cardiac Surgery.
• Thoracic Surgery.
• Adult Congenital Cardiac ward.
• Catheter Laboratory.
• Catheter Laboratory Day Unit.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to motivate others within our highly performing teams.

We have a dedicated and enthusiastic education and practice development team along with our specialist nurses and advanced nurse practitioners who are committed to providing a varied programme of development. You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
