An exciting and challenging role has arisen within our Women and Newborn Service supporting the breast service team at PAH. You will be responsible for the coordination of various admin departments within Women & Newborn at UHS. The successful candidate will be working in a busy fast paced environment so you will need excellent leadership and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload are essential.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic individual with a mature, responsible and flexible outlook to join our busy and challenging department. You must have a caring and courteous manner with a thorough understanding of good customer service skills. The role is varied and busy and you will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding work load with changing priorities.

This role requires a dedicated and motivated team player to join our team and drive the team forward with our ongoing service development. You will be expected to undertake a wide range of roles and responsibilities. You will be responsible for leading an administration team following all the relevant policies and procedures at all times and be accountable for all administrative services, including ensuring local and national targets are met, highlighting and managing capacity issues as they arise. You should enjoy working with and meeting new people as you will be part of a varied multidisciplinary team and will have some direct patient contact.

The working hours are full time, 37.5 hours. All staff will be required to cover both shifts on a rota basis of 8am -4pm and 9.30 am -5.30pm, plus 10 - 6pm when required.
