Wessex NHS Procurement Ltd (WPL) was formed in December 2019 as a joint venture between Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.  The company provides end to end Procurement and Supply Chain services to hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover and Southampton

We’re looking for an Information Analyst who has a proved track record in dealing with complex data sets; with a keen eye for detail you will actively support our procurement analytic s function with a focus on continual improvement. Those with a demonstrable passion for data, a desire to learn and an analytical mind will be considered for the post

ABOUT THE TEAM

As a new company WPL is developing its identity and building a strong team to take the company forward, this post will report directly into the WPL Procurement Analytics Manager and will work closely with Procurement Managers and the WPL Operational Procurement lead.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) primarily based at North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke; the role currently offers a flexible working environment with the ability to work from home subject to agreement with the Procurement Analytics Manager and in line with the larger business needs.

You will be able to;

  1. Routinely Identify information requirements.
  2. Manage data from a variety of sources and develop information reporting capabilities, supporting both routine and ad hoc reporting requirements but also contributing to the customer Trusts cost reduction goals.
  3. You will support the on-going maintenance and development of procurement systems, whilst playing a significant role in improving data standards and quality.

WPL provides end to end Procurement and Supply Chain services, including strategic sourcing, value creation, tendering, contract and inventory management, distribution and materials management in to hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover and Southampton. All our hospital locations offer nearby green spaces, local historical attractions and the beaches and National Parks  are also right on our doorstep.
