An exciting and challenging role has arisen within our Women and Newborn Service at University Hospital Southampton (UHS) NHS Foundation Trust for a Customer Relationship Manager full time on a 3 month fixed term basis.

Are you passionate about customer service? Are you experienced in all aspects of administration and office management? Are you able to support and develop a team?

You will be responsible for the coordination of various admin departments.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are a small, friendly and dedicated specialist admin team within the Princess Anne Hospital

We ensure that our patients are a priority in a fast paced environment at all times.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role requires a dedicated and motivated manager to lead the team forward with our ongoing service developments.

You will be expected to undertake a wide range of roles and responsibilities.

You will be responsible for managing an administration team following all the relevant policies and procedures at all times.

You will be accountable for all administrative services, ensuring local and national targets are met and highlighting and managing capacity issues as they arise.

You should enjoy working with and meeting new people as you will be part of a varied multidisciplinary team and will have some direct patient contact.

Alongside the management of staff this role is primarily working on validation reports for W&N performance, this includes using excel and various trust IT systems on a daily basis.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The role is varied and busy and you will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding workload with changing priorities.

You will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.

You will have specialist and organisational knowledge of admin procedures and working processes in a customer focused service.

You will have experience of dealing with non-routine and complex problems, progress chasing, resource and staff allocation.

You will have experience in a supervisory role.

You will have experience of complex staff rosters.
