If you are an enthusiastic, self-motivated Radiographer that would like to learn more about Cardiothoracic Imaging then we’d love to hear from you. A rare opportunity has arisen for a one year secondment to join the team of Specialist Cardiac Radiographers

We will offer you a comprehensive training programme and a supportive and positive working environment working alongside a well-established and experienced multi-disciplinary team, in an interventional environment performing a wide range of routine and emergency Cath Lab Procedures.

You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills, professionalism and a flexible approach to working, good attention to detail and the ability to learn is crucial for this secondment. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in our busy Cardiac Catheter on call rota and to cover the very occasional weekend for Cardiac Planar Imaging once they are fully trained.

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will work closely with fellow band 6 Cardiothoracic Radiographers, Cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists and Cath Lab Nurses. Working from 08:00 – 18:00 four days per week, with a set day off in the week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be working in the Cardiac Catheter Labs and occasionally The Hybrid Lab covering the Emergency Cardiac Catheter Labs on call service and cover the very occasional weekends for the Cardiothoracic Planar Service.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Radiographer with the aptitude  and willingness to learn intervention cardiology procedures in the Cardiac Catheter Lab setting.
